Terms of Use

Using Mila Tova
Mila Tova is a reading-practice tool for teachers. Teachers choose Hebrew readings, share a PIN with their class, and students read aloud while the app checks each word.
You may use Mila Tova to teach your own students. You are responsible for using it in line with your school’s rules.
Your account
Teachers sign in with a Google account. Keep access to that account safe; anything done while signed in is treated as done by you.
Students do not have accounts. They join a reading with your PIN and tap their name from the class list you created.
Plans and payment
Free costs nothing. Paid costs $20 a month, billed monthly through Stripe, and renews until you cancel.
You can cancel any time. You keep Paid until the end of the month you paid for, then your account moves to Free. We don’t give partial refunds for unused days unless the law requires it.
Fair use
Paid has no fixed limit on assignments. Fair use means normal classroom use: a teacher giving readings to their own classes.
If usage looks unusual (for example, automated use or sharing one account across a school), we will contact you before changing anything.
Reading content
The reading library belongs to Mila Tova and is licensed to you for classroom use. Please don’t copy it into other products.
When upload is available, texts you upload stay yours. You confirm you have the right to use them with your class.
Ending your account
You can stop using Mila Tova at any time and ask us to delete your account and class data by emailing hello@milatova.org.
We may suspend accounts that misuse the service or put students at risk.
Changes to these terms
We may update these terms. If a change matters, we will tell you by email or in the app before it takes effect.
